Well, this question really depends on whether you already have an existing DS Lite. If you don’t and you would like a hand held gaming device, then you can’t go wrong with the DSI Console. However, what if you already own the DS Lite, should you really be going out and getting a new DSI Console?
In order you work this one out, we need to know what the differences are of the Nintendo DSI console, compared to the standard DS lite.
First of all the DSI console is thinner than the standard ds. 12% thinner to be exact. They have achieved this by removing the GTA slot and replacing it with an SD slot. That an some clever engineering using the latest technology.
Even though it is thinner, the DSI console actually has larger/wider screens. This will no doubt enhance the play experience. It will come in only two colours in the beginning, which will be black and white. These will not be shiny like with the DS lite, but rather be more matte.
The new DSI console comes with not 1 but 2 cameras. One of the cameras is on the inside bend, and the other is on the outside, so it can be used when the DSI console is closed. The cameras are only 0.3m pixel, so the quality is nothing compared to what you would normally find on a camera phone, for example. However, for gameplay this resolution will be perfect and we cant wait to see how Nintendo implement this into the new games.
Talking of games. The DSI Console has its own browser, and built in wifi. The browser was developed by Opera and will enable you to surf the net from your DSI. You will also be able to connect to the dsiware site. This is where you will be able to purchase games and applications using Nintendo points (previously called Wii points). You will even be getting 1000 points free when you buy DSI console.

ok, so im think ing of getting a dsi(trading my new ds lite-lol)
so, like if i can use an sd card from my camera, can i like put in the sd card AFTER taking the pictures alredy, just to be able to put it in my computer?
and wait. wat else do i need the sd card for? do i need it to download music or videos?
if i do, then will a camera sd card work for all of that?
and one last thing, about the sd card, how much will it cost for 2 gb in newyork?
and uh, is the internet free?
if i trade in my ds lite, will i need to pay warranted again, for the dsi? my final question for now, until when is the trading deal like up to what date is the deal going. or does it not stop?
